While I don't like the idea of throwing SS badges on anything other than an SS, it is a VERY clean car.

Car looks good, but as stated above putting different badges on any car i'm not a fan of. Track time seems alittle on the slow side.

I´m totally agree with you about that 13.6, but that was 2 years ago, and 7000ft is a lot of altitude, in fact a 98 ls1 at that altitude runs high 14´s, I´m totally sure I can reach the high 12´s all motor, and lets see with a 100 shot.

The aftermarket headlights need to be smashed with a hammer and replaced with stock pieces. Otherwise, the car looks great!

Oh, and there's nothing wrong with an SS clone, especially with an LS1 Camaro, since the basic SS package was almost entirely cosmetic anyway.

Hi I'm new here to the forum and came across this thread. So a stock 98 ls1 runs high 14s at that crazy altittude; when it should run as good as 12.9 where normal people live lol, at sea level?

Love the car, appreciate the homage towards the SS, but lose the badges....not an SS, don't badge it as such.

Again...beautiful car

Thanks buddy, I made the clon cuz only the Z28 was available In mexico´s dealerships, so SS´s are not very common here.

hahaha That´s nothing read me...
If the LS1 isn´t in pretty much good conditions (here in mexico is rare to see a fbody in good conditions) the LS1 in poor conditions runs mid 15´s, hahaha and LTX runs high 15 low 16´s , If you come down here someday you will see a lot of SRT4´s Turbo crappy cars but running 12´s and 11´s ! ! !
