Is this the book? It seems to be regarded as the "bible" for working on LS based motors.

I saw this book once at a Barns & Nobel but didn't have time to skim through it. I might just buy it off Amazon and sit down one afternoon and peek through it.

i literally BUILT my motor according to this book:

i also have the book you mentioned but it is better for learning about the motors, not building them step by step. ^this one is a no **** complete guide every step of the way. i would recommend both
