I really like the black car's rims. Are those gunmetal, or the "Argent" finish? C5 Z06's? I can't tell if they're 17" or 18", or staggered >_>

Not worth that dough, no way no how. These arent COPO cars, these are cars put together by a tuner shop, with some fancy badging and striping. Honestly dont think you can compare these to a 69 ZL1. Not even in the same realm. These were put together simply in the hope of being collectible. 69 ZL1's were for racing.

These cars ARE going for over 100K a piece. He would be better off splitting them up, but people are willing to pay 6 figures for these cars. They already are!
A local had one and sold it to a pro athlete for around 130K I believe. He bought a C6 Z to replace it.

You said that already, and you said it was a few years ago which was when the '02 Camaro was thought to be the last ever. Has anyone else paid 6 figures for one of these lately? The sky high prices for rare ones like these droped like a tank when the 5th gen was confirmed.

Im sure that if the seller waits out and finds the right buyer they will bring around 100k each if he is willing to sit on it for a while and find the right buyer. But he is basically asking 150k per car, and making it seem like your getting a deal b/c they will be worth 450-800k in year to come, and honestly IF you held onto one of these for 40 years there is no telling what it will be worth. I know people in the 70's and 80's who bought/sold early muscle cars for pennies compared to what there selling for now, so there is no telling what there going to be worth. And correct me if im wrong but the colors on some of the cars are not original paint. So calling them "1 of 1 in X color" is just stupid. I can but a Camaro paint it some random color and say its "1 of 1". To me it does not add much value to the car. Now it its a factory color that is rare its a different story, like the Green metalic, gold, and purple F bodies that are out there.

all I can think about is this older guy that was on the HRPT in 02-03 that had a gmmg car and kept starting it up and revving it and doin burnouts. To think these cars are worth much of anything kills me. I still laugh at the people that think a 50,000 mile ws6 is worth 20+
These cars will not be worth what a 67-69 or the like are worth these days, its just not gonna happen
and I've had a 02 SS aniv LE vert since new. To me its not worth much more than any other ls1 4th gen

He should take them to Barrett Jackson. They will sell with no problem. Not for what he's asking for them, but north of $100k a piece should be easy. As much as it pains us "regular" production vehicle owners there are actually (wealthy) car collectors out there that would by these cars all day. Yeah I know its crazy but that's just the way it is.

I dont think any 4th Gen F-Body is worth 100k or more, dont care what Special Edition type it is. These arent exotic cars or anything like that, maybe in a few years they will be but i wouldnt care either way. There's way better cars/things out there to invest in for that price.
