I was gonna go with a saturn sl1 but couldnt find one for a good price. So I went with a 96 civic. Both cars are GREAT on gas.

I just got done chippin the ice away from my cars covers that touch the ground. I actualy got to open the hood and pullout the batt. I got lazy and forgot to do it a couple months ago then we got hammered with snow. Got it on the trickle charge and seems to be plenty of juice left in it still.
Hell ya dude melt this snow!

Yeah, Idk what you're talking about. It's hot and muggy as hell in Dallas, turned on the AC today.

It's 50 degrees outside. F -- it, I'm going for a drive.

Be back in an hour.

Damn. Battery low. Charging it now.

I'm back. Ahh, that felt good! But I'm still missing the sound and torque of my LT1 - the LS is just a little too smooth.

Yeah, I miss driving it. I've been driving my Jeep since early December, that's the last time I drove the Bird. I've beenstarting it upand letting it run every few weeks, but I haven't been able to drive it due to snow/ice in the driveway.

The Jeep is great i nthe bad weather, but otherwise it sucks to drive...really slow and horrible on gas. I Can't wait till April to get back into the Bird, especially as I've gotten hooked on TopGear BBC through Netflix over the winter, and I AM going to learn how to powerslide that car around a corner!!

Like someone stated above, my Jeep is great in bad weather but it's not a fun truck to drive when it's nice out. I heard it was going to snow pretty bad this afternoon so I used the last couple of days to do a few things and mainly to drive as much as I can:

Sure enough, we got about 4" on the ground now. I got my clears in, put my painted grille back on and was able to put my rear inlays in. I had planned on getting my Magnaflow installed tomorrow but that's a no go so I may do the rear shocks if it's not too cold. Or maybe I'll just stay inside and polish my lights.

I live in NH and been driving mine every day! Thing is completely coated in salt, just beautiful on a black car. I have spots that I can't even see my paint through the salt...

Washed it about 2 weeks ago to, so I am getting depressed :-p

I was up there about 3 or 4 times last year, black SS, only mods an SLP Lid and exhaust and rocking stock 10 spokes. It's the only black SS I've seen up there, so unfortunately that fine looking automobile you are thinking of is probably one and the same.

Yeah it hurts me every time I look at the car... It was either that or sell it though. Before the winter months I did about 3 coats of wax to try and help save it, and I've been rinsing it off top, bottom, and underneath about every 2 weeks.

Though I will say, with the snow tires, best moving automobile I have ever driven in the snow!
