It was only -12 F this morning and I didn't drive the camaro to feel the difference. I do have a large cryo freezer at work that is -172 F. If I can get the car in there, that should be 71 free HP!

71novaguy- thats a huge gain but I dont doubt you one bit. A few times during the summer at our local track it will get pretty chilly, obviously all the cars will be a little quicker (traction limited) but it seems like the forced induction cars do really well. My family is into buick grand nationals (turbo v6) and they all call it "turbo air" when it gets chilly out lol.
I just searched Google for temperature horsepower and one of the first things I found was the following formula:

HP Output = +1% HP per 10 degree temperature decrease
-1% HP per 10 degree temperature increase
Well, I think the difference in times was some of both. Colder air not only gave me the extra hp, it probably eliminated any KR i had, which allowed it to finally get its full potential.

Nope, I absolutely hate driving in the winter. Lots of piston slap on cold starts, the T-tops creak over bumps, the ride is stiff, and the gas mileage blows thanks to shitty winter blend gas. Springtime please...

Those few WOT pulls are not worth the 2+ hours it takes me to get all the salt off and clean my wheels again.

I agree that the salt and snow suck! I somehow got myself into a situation where I absolutely have to DD my camaro lol. No money for a beater at the moment, but I will definitely have one next winter for sure.

My car doesn't hook up for crap in the cold with the filthy cold pavement...I actually THOUGHT no WOT in 1 2 or 3 was a safe bet...until the car spun in 4th the other day...so now I just commute to work in the car without using the gas pedal at all.

I only drive my car if it's at least 55ish* outside, otherwise my tires don't like to hook and my 3rd gear seems to grind a lot in cold.

May be a stupid question, but my car was tuned when it was 95* outside with a heat index over 100, and I've been told that will make it run differently when it's cold outside because it was tuned for optimum performance when it's hotter out. Any truth behind this?

I don't really enjoy driving in bad weather, but what choice do you have when all you have is a sports car.
