Default How would driveability be with this:

Custom ground 231 237 .589 .595 112 comp cam

3600 stall Vigilante converter

Through an a4.


just wondering for daily driving it. maybe a highway on occassion. has stock gearing as well.

How about the 112 LSA, is that going to be really choppy, and might die out when first starting the car, or die at stop lights?

Any info is appreciated.

With the right tune I would think it would be fine, but drive-ability all depends on the driver. For me that setup would get old for a DD, but it depends what you like and can deal with

I DD mine with the cam in my sig. Like stated above, you should be fine with a good tune.

Like already said, it's all in the tune. I'm running a 234 /.601 112 Futral F-14 with no problems at all - starts perfectly, idles great with or without A/C on, pull up to a stop it just plugs away.

It's all about drivability tuning and getting the idle tune right - I've got a lot of datalogging / tweaking hours in mine.

I have a similar cam, M6 though.. and not a good tune... But the driving isnt that bad at all..

I had a 230/234 111 in my old 346 and cold start was kinda a bitch but once it was warm it was a kitten....

my cam and stall are bigger and I DD mine every day, with a decent tune that my buddy did with HP Tuners. Im sure I am leaving some on the table, but for now, it's just fine

Do you have 2.73s or 3.23s? With 2.73s and a 3600 stall, it will prob feel a little weak down low.
