Default Lays over on the top

Okay, I just bought a T/A a few days ago. It has full suspension, fast 90/90 combo, lt's, catted gmmp exhaust, underdrive pullies, and 3:73 gears in a 12 bolt. This car is nasty from the bottom, but it seems to lay over on the topside. I raced a 2010 4.6 manual mustang, programmed, off road h pipe and exhaust from 80-130. From 80 I got him about a car, then he slowly reeled me back in...is this normal

Without mods (cam/headwork) to support that Fast 90/90 your low-mid torque isn't doing you any favors.

2010 4.6 eh? That is wierd with your mods especially.. Im bone stock and i managed to be neck to neck with a newer mustang (4.6L M5) with bolt ons up the ***, you sure it wasnt a 5.0 2011 stang? those are narly... Idk what to tell ya man theres alot of factors that come into play in these situations, cant compare

The stock cam/heads just don't support the airflow capability of a 90/90, and you're probably in valve float over 5k RPM where the 90/90 will shine if the springs are original.

A healthy 230 @ .050 duration cam and supporting valvetrain, 3600-4000 stall converter, headers and a tune will really wake up your car and put you into the 11's if you have a good 60ft. You've got everything else done already.

I was thinking the same thing as far as valve float (higher rpms under more load)

either way i would be happy to buy a T/A with a FAST 90/90 setup already.. i would just finish the build

I'm thinking the tune has too much timing in it... So im going to have to log it andhave soneone look at the timing tables soon...also the tuner said something about the operating system in the 2000 cars was different from the 02's so he said he would swap it over to the 02 system...how much timing are you bolton guys running? I know every car is different, just want a baseline of where everyone else is so I can identify if something is majorly out of wack...
