If you can post up some pictures it will give us a better idea of the best way to fix it. And I wouldn't let her fix it, rubber compound can sometimes take the paint off if you don't know what your doing, and can cause more damage then what was originally done

Good question....I can see that they're less likely to race/drive aggressively, but also much more likely to do something terribly stupid....

Get some scratch-x and make your girlfriend buff it out, while bending over a lot. Check her work. Repeat as required.

Get pictures, or better yet a video. Post it here.

ahh man, someone beat me to it. ahh well. SMACK AT BITCH!!! haha, and when ur buffin, don't hold it down too long or you'll get those ugly burns in the paint that my hood has. oh yea, and defly don't let ur girl do it or she'll make it worse more than likely. ur only supposed to make her wash the car so you can check her out bendin over to scrub those hard to get low spots, not do something as dangerous as waxing lol. remember women and powertools don't mix

Word.. And if you think about it, tickets and street racing don't cost insurance companies any money unless you wreck (which most definitely happens) but I wouldn't say we are a higher risk. Females get in lots of "low speed" accidents that cost a TON. I just got paid $1500 from an insurance company for someone hitting me at 5mph and I wasn't moving. Plus I know 5 or 6 girls that have been in SUPER bad accidents that totaled multiple vehicles at fault and even a couple were fatal. I only have 2 guy friends that have totaled a vehicle.

And you know if women were to be charged more than men all hell would break lose. Lmao, I'm just lucky my girl knows she doesn't drive well and gives me the keys. Haha! Sorry for the thread hijack, this is just something that I have thought about before.

I have some light clear coat scratches I need gone as well. As far as swapping paint, I've been amazed at what a good compound will do in the past.

^^^^

Now that you mention that, I can think of 2 girls I know that have gotten in serious accidents.....and only 1 guy (and it was a woman who caused it)

Not saying ALL women can't drive, just the ones that I'm around

I've been in 5 accidents in my life. All were the other driver's fault, and 4 of the 5 were women. In their defense though, they were all very young and inexperienced drivers. Either way, my own personal statistics tell me to be far more cautions of women drivers than men.

In my experience, I have NEVER seen, or ridden with a woman who can drive well. Half of the ones I know drive like they're on a road course.

My wife rear ended my car in the driveway a few months ago. I only have a one car width driveway and she usually parks behind me. Problem is that it slopes a bit downward and when she put it into reverse it rolled forward a bit and smacked the rear.

Luckily it was just some paint scuffs and the bumper didn't crack but I was still pretty pissed. I'd say it wasn't her fault but she does stuff like this all the time so I make her pay for the damage so she understands that when she does stupid **** like this it costs me money and now it's going to cost her money.

Now she parks at the end of the driveway. Some people just treat cars like appliances and when they damage yours, they assume you feel the same way. Irritating.

Most of the people I pull out of ditches and snow in the winter are female. Some are men that try to do too much with the vehicles they have, but the women mostly fly off the icy road or drive into the wrong part of the tracks. Most are young, but not always.

My ex-wife had 4 wrecks in a 6 week time span during my first deployment. Two of those wrecks involved the rental car that our insurance provided while HER wrecked car was in the shop. One wreck involved her losing control on a straight road and somehow broad-siding a minivan. Last but not least she totaled her 2004 Grandam GT by driving it into a ditch at 60mph. ****** caught on fire...but she was ok

Wish I was making this **** up, it cost me a small fortune. Still got the police reports, pictures, and insurance claims from each wreck to remind me why I don't need to get remarried....

Im with johnny lt-1 runner on this one. NO girl has ever impressed me with their driving. It comes down to 2 types of women drivers:
1. women that are bad drivers and know they are bad (acceptance is the first step in recovery

2. women that are bad drivers that think they are good (the ones to look out for!)

-In the end I will never EVER believe women are as good or better than a man behind the wheel and the only places a girl will be in my ls1 are passenger seat or back seat. when a girl knows their place (and their car is no where near yours) things like this dont happen
