Lost power steering

Last winter before i put the car away for the year i decided i needed to do some donuts. Well i blew my power steering pump in the process. My question is,can i drive it w/o power steering or will this cause anymore damage??

One of my friends drove his like that for a couple of months until the power steering pulley eventually came off...lol. His was an LT1 though, if that matters.
