t/achaser

im thinking about doing a cam and intake swap on my t/a this fall, the motor has 186000 on it, is it going to hold up?? or should i plan on rebuilding? 383 maybe?????
any info welcome thanks

how does the motor run now? any weird noises or anything? if not and its been taken care of u will be fine with that many miles it just all depends on the condition of the motor! If its been beat on its whole life and had 3 oil changes then id say rebuild the ******

Thats a lot of miles, all depends on what shape the motors in and what you can afford...id probably go for the rebuild and start fresh

Do the cam. It sounds like you have the money to rebuild so put a big cam in it and when your ls1 blows use the cam in the stroker motor if its still in good shape.
