Default iron block ls1

I have 2004 5.3 out of a tahoe and im considering boring it out to ls1 specs. Is this worth the money? ( looking for about 380rwhp or better)

Yes, they can be bored that much all daylong. make sure you get someone that uses a torque plate to stop distortion and what not. Worth it in my book.

Yes they can be bored to 5.7. And no it still wouldn't be an iron block LS1 because that doesn't exist.

so what is needed to accomplish this besides pistons ? can i reuse the 5.3 rods?
