Well, im thinking about purchasing a mildish cam for my 02 z06 that is just intake only for now...
What else would i need to upgrade, if i install a 228 cam in my car?? Ive been tempted lately to put an ls6 cam in my 98 trans am...
Never upgraded a cam in any of my lsx vehicles in the past and now really want to!
thanx

You will need new springs, bigger injectors, tune and maybe a different oil pump. Am I forgetting anything? Once you do that, swap your old Vette parts and put them on your T/A!!!

If you want to go minimum because its a small cam you can just go cam and springs. Your injectors are going to be in the upper 90%'s which isnt great but not terrible. If your car is a low mile car then I say its fine reusing the oil pump but look into a ls2 chain. Dont change the gears. Tune would be a plus but I wouldn't say its necessary with that cam.
