Hesitation when starting?

Hesitation when starting? My formula sometimes hesitates to starts, the engine doesnt roll over, and it just makes a weird noise then takes hold, ive replaced the battery.
Help?

What are your cranking RPM's? If they seem to be really low, then I advise checking the voltage drop and current draw between the battery and the starter motor using a multimeter. Most multimeters are only good until 10 amps, so unless you have an amp clamp, I suggest you take it in to your local shop for an AVR test.
