I "daily drive" mine as often as it lets me.
130k miles, constantly down, engine has no power, transmission is shot, rearend is shot, suspension is shot, CEL is always on... bcm is screwed so the radio cuts off/ windows wont work, one power window switch is dead, both power window motors are ALMOST dead, steering wheel shakes.
I drive it anyway.
yea it's a pos.. but it's MY pos.
Ya can't do better for $4500..

Ummm, obviously you don't take care of your car...
And if you bought the car in that condition, you got ripped off big time! Nowadays you can pick up high mileage ls1 fbody in good condition for quite cheap

Its soo good to see these high mileage LS1s last a long time with minimal issues. Granted things may go bad here and there but I plan on having and road racing my motor for a while.

I switch between my 99z28 with 155000 on it and a 02 4.8l silverado that just hit 300000 depending on how bad the hills are where I'm going. Only major problems we've had are the oil pump dying and takin the motor with it in my car about 3k ago and the transmission in the truck 30k, also a/c in both this summer
