I got an MS4 installed and its about ready to get tuned. My installer is concerned with pushing the limits of the valve springs seeing as they are 650 springs and the MS4 has a 649 lift. I talked to texas speed in indy this weekend and they suggested a 6800 rpm limiter, but how safe is this? I have stock rod bolts.

What year is the car? RPM is a concern with valvetrain because unless it is setup properly and somewhat lightweight it should not be spun to the moon. Thats how you tear stuff up for no reason.
