That kind of car doesn't do anything for me...so I'd sell it and buy a LS1 car..but then again I do have a car that I've had since highschool that I am attatched to (72 Camaro SS) and I hate the idea of selling that..so I see where you're coming from. Whatever you feel is right, will be the right choice.

455 stroker cranks are cheap for those 389s. match that with the cam I have in my garage and some cheapo 6X/96 heads and enjoy 650ftlbs of torque at 2800 rpm.
still matching numbers and no one can tell its not really a 389 other than the absolute sexiest exhaust note you can ever hear.

I can be of much help to you. I started off buying a 2000 Camaro SS when I was a senior in college. Kept it for 3 years, did head/cam and sold it to buy my dream car, a 70 SS Chevelle. I had it repainted, new interior, eventually built a 540 big block and put a 5 speed tremec in it. The last year I owned it I bought my WS6 because I wanted a car I could drive again without being paranoid about it raining out, break downs, kids pawing all over it. So the next year I sold the Chevelle. I owned it for about 6 yrs. I can honestly say I love muscle cars, but the only better thing about them is the thumbs up you get from everyone. So if you want a car for that, keep the Poncho. If you want a car you can fire up, get 20+ mpg, cruise the freeway for hundreds of miles in 6th gear and still have a fast car get the TA and only a WS6! I will have another muscle car someday, but the WS6 will stay.
BTW, do not put an LS1 into a big, heavy muscle car. I am a muscle car purist and I cannot stand when people put LS1/LT1 into and old car. It is just stupid. Just like I would not put a 454 BBC into my WS6.
