Thanks.

The tires are the original BFG KDW design, in the stock SS size. BF Goodrich has discontinued that style in our size now, and only sells the KDW2. Mine are from 2005, but only have about 2500 miles on them. The car is rarely driven, only to the occasional car show or nice day to keep it running properly.

Mines in my garage know for the winter. How often do you start it when it sits? Thanks Justin

I don't usually start it unless I'm going to drive it. If you do start it while in storage, make sure to do it on the warmest days possibile, and run the engine for a good long while to get the fluids up to temp. Also, if you're going to start it, take that opportunity to run the AC/defogger so that the seals in the system can get lubricated.

I used to start the car 2-3 times every winter, but I haven't done that for the last couple of years. The car sits for 5-6 months straight, then fires up perfectly in the spring (make sure to put Stabil in the gas, and you'll have no issues). I don't pull the battery either, I just put a small 2 amp smart charger on it every couple of months.

Then it probably has an SLP dual/dual or an aftermarket SLP Loudmouth. It may have had the dual/dual stock, you can check the supplemental door jamb sticker on the passenger side to see if there were additional SLP options (it would also then have the "Y2Y" RPO code on the SPID sticker on the driver's door jamb). If any or all of these stickers are missing, you could call SLP with your VIN number and get the build options and date.

The dual/dual was also offered for sale as an aftermarket item from SLP, so even if your car didn't have any extra SLP options, it may still have had the dual/dual installed by someone after the fact.

If you're going to start it, then you want to get the oil hot enough to burn off the moisture that develops as the engine beings to warm. Driving it one block and back isn't going to get things very hot, especially in the winter temps.

Unless you're going to drive it a decent distance, or run the engine for an extended period of time to get it hot, I wouldn't start it at all.
