someone please go in their camaro and see if yours does this too.. when you turn your key to this position (see picture)where it looks like this, does your gas gauge indicator hand go up or does it still stay at E like mine???

the car is not turned on yet. its at the position where the check engine light turns on even though its not really on when the car is on. just look at that position.. what would you call that position??

Gotcha, that's just when all the accessories turn on, but in order to start the car you have to turn it once more correct? In the position your talking about, your radio, the bell chime etc., comes on right? If so, yes, my fuel needle rises to however much fuel I have in the car.
