Smog retest:
15mph nox was @ 250
25 mph nox @ 80
So it passed . . . curious about why the 15 mph is a little high though.

Because you said you have a 98 motor. The 98 motors have EGR unless you turn it off/get it tuned out.

problem is, its ILLEGAL to have an engine older than the vehicle in said vehicle.

EX. a 98 motor in a 00 is illegal.

Ok. I thought since I have an 01 with no egr on the 98 I thought it would be fine since I'm runnin on the 01 computer. No codes for egr or nothing. I'd still have to go into the 01 and tune the egr out?? Or with the 01 comp am I fine?
