If the roads are dry I drive it all year around. Just let it warm up a little longer in the winter months.

I drove mine a couple days ago when it was 19 degrees, it feels faster when its cold outside.

southern california here, but my car wears r comp tires all year around (street/autox car that is NOT a daily driver). they don't like cold temperatures and if it ever gets to the 40's, i keep it in the garage unless i know im going to get to heat them up real good. 32 and below they'll literally fall apart.

Thats because cold air compresses better than warm air due to it being more dense.

Im with a couple of these other guys, i drive my car through anything since its my DD. I wish i could say differently though.

jus gonna drop my 2 cents

I've driven in 20'ish degree weather when it got that cold here in texas, DR's and all! Just like any car you can drive it in cold weather, you just need to warm it up in the morning. Now if your car isn't equipped for winter traveling, like winter tires, chains, ect and I doubt that cuz thats no fun lol then dont drive her

Anyways, if its just cold temps, just warm her up. It its icy/snowy/sleety keep it in the garage.

Now if its tundra like temps like -10 or whatever i wouldnt drive it or keep it exposed to the elements. But thats just my opinion.

Help that helps

I haven't put mine away yet. We have had one small snow storm and it wasn't even bad where i live. I'm only driving it on the weekends right now, and ill continue to do it until the inevitable happens.

I'd never drive my car in the winter even if there was no snow. -40 is just to cold in my mind!

My Trans Am has the same rules as my Harley- 36 degrees or above with clear, dry roads. I've actually taken the bike out more than the car this year, even took it on a 50+ mile cruise with my buddies on Christmas Day (for the 3rd year in a row lol). I have my truck for a DD so it sees all the bad weather.

Mine is my DD so it doesn't matter what it is like outside. I put my 16's back on in the winter since they have all seasons on them. Then I just cruise like a grandma if it is snowing. 25 mph in 3rd gear ftw. As far as the cold I don't drive any different. The other day it was in the single digits here. I did the same thing I always do; start the car, pull out of the garage, and baby it until it is warmed up. The cold weather is harder on me than the car lol. I shiver the whole time it is warming up. Those leather seats are cold when it hasn't been moving for awhile

My C5 is my DD, I won't drive it in the snow, but rain hasn't stopped me yet. We have a 2 car garage and the Chevelle and Challenger SRT8 are in it so the Vette sits outside year round.

If the roads are dry, I don't have a problem taking it out, I just baby it. Although I mostly use the beater in the winter anyway.

Where did you get this craziness from?

Down in Southern CT its been cold lately. I found my clutch being extra squeeky when its frigid, my bald tires cant seem to find traction what so ever, and my driver side door panel went from a 1/2" crack to about 4" when closing my door when it was 10-15 degrees out. Pretty much parking it until or warms up.

Well, I drive my Trans Am rain, snow, or shine haha and I find it to be a real bitch in the snow lol. Daily driver. I wish I could park it for the winter. And for some reason I have something against using the heater or my A/C...I'm weird, I know lol.

I try to run mine as late into the year as possible and then put a full fresh tank of gas into it. I keep it off the typical upstate NY salt caked roads but fire it up and back it out the garage and let it run for a half hour from time to time. I hate letting any vehicle sit for a long period of time.
