It started up great... But nothing else did. Used the trans am to boost my winter beater. Then parked it again.

I shiver the whole time it is warming up.
Yep. DD - all conditions. Blizzaks in snow. Had to get up and drive it on the coldest day in years last February: -18*F, snow everywhere. Did fine.

Last year I drove in everything from 110 degrees in the summer to -20 degrees in the winter. You've got to love Oklahoma weather.

ill draw the line anything below -40 f. if you did break down hypothermia sets in pretty quickly trust me. i also worry about the vehicles mechanical safety anytime below that, just cuz the engine warms up doesnt mean the grease in all the joints, seals, transmission fluid in manuals, and stuff like that has a chance to warm up and soften up....

Went to the grocery store a few hours ago with sleet falling. Temps in the high 20s. Summer tires all the way around and it does just fine, piston slaps its *** off, but that's about it.

Mines a dd. I do have a truck so I don't drive it in the snow usually. It sucks in the snow. I have a winter set-up for it and on it now....lol

Is it me or are these cars way louder in the cold? My car seems pretty quiet and sqeak/rattle free in the summer.

No cold weather limit really, just a timing one.
Both cars go away Oct 15th-April 15th regardless of outside weather.

It's your car, not you. The only time I start thinking about getting a different DD (GTO or G8) is in the winter for this reason.

Since I live in central VA I drive my car all year except if there's snow accumulated on the roads. Then I take my '99 2WD Dodge Dakota pickup truck which is awful in the snow or I have my wife cart me around in her AWD Mazda Tribute. My car will be paid off soon and when it is I think I'm going to buy a decent AWD vehicle for bad weather days.

Mine's a DD, so it goes out in pretty much anything. It's almost always in the garage, but it's actually fun to drive in the snow and handles surprisingly well in it. Only ever don't take it out if the conditions are bad enough and I'm in a situation where i desperately need 4wd. Always keep the car washed though, everytime it's out in bad conditions with salt on the road, it's washed asap afterward.

nice. I have not tried mine in snow either, somehow I don't think my pzeros would be very safe... And I can't justify winter tires in Houston!
