Maybe a dumb question, but is the oil Presure at the Oil filter the same as the rest of the motor? Reason I am asking is because I am trying to find a suitable location for the oil pressure sender and the oil temp sensor for my autometer gauges. I have the GTO oil pan so I was going to put the oil pressure sensor where one of the plugs oil pan is (this plug is the galley way to oil filter). Will this work?

 

Yes it is the same as the rest of the motor and will work the same there !
