If you have a tape deck you can always use an adapter. I also know on headunits that are capable of controlling a CD changer, you can use that input from the CD changer to hook up your ipod. Even cars without the CD changer option usually have a headunit that can control a CD changer. Search and read about it in the Audio forum.

That is true, thanks!! I just figured I might as well upgrade from the stocker anyways, it will give me an excuse to do it haha.

I am also thinking if I should change out my trans and diff fluid, because I'm not sure if it has ever been flushed and changed.

here's a list of what I typically bring on road trips:

basic hand tools (pliers, screw drivers, socket set, etc.)
1 roll of paper towels
spare engine oil, tranny oil, power steering oil
tranny oil funnel
duct tape
bungee cords
jumper cables
12V tire inflator
OBD2 scanner
volt meter
tow strap
cooler with drinks
satellite radio
