Default 6.0L cylinder head and intake question

Im swapping my 4.8L in my 2000 chevy silverado 1500 and putting a 6.0L in. im upgrading the camshaft and also want to put new cylinder heads on. I was reading on a article (http://www.gmhightechperformance.com...s/viewall.html) and it said you can use the L92 heads on the 6.0L but you have to use the L76 intake manifold. Has anyone does this mod. Thanks

Many people. Check out the gen iv internal engine section.

With the huge valves of the l92/ls3 heads, you will be limited to the size of your cam without cutting the pistons or going with forged pistons with valve reliefs already in them.

That cam is for cathedral port heads. It will not run very well with ls3 style heads.

You need to pick a different cam or have one custom ground.
