building LS1 OR LS2

Default building LS1 OR LS2

swapping into a non v8 vehicle, whats the difference between the ls1 and the ls2? (besides 5.7 and 6.0) im hearing through some of the guys i work with that the blocks are the same, but have different internals. "bigger" heads and crank? thanks

Pretty sure the LS2 would be a better choice if you could foot the bill.

thanks for the link, it has some helpful infomation.

i think my budget will be be making my choises. i do know that i need to run the ls2 pump for clearance in the engine bay
