BG Ram Air mod
Was wondering if anyone still made and sold the BG Ram Air mod? I had on a long time ago and loved it. Thinking of getting another WS6 and would like to get another BG Ram Air to o on it. Thanks for the help.

Brian Greene (BG) made the best possibile kits for these hoods. I had one as well, and wish I would have removed it before I sold that car, just in case I ever needed one again. I think I still have a couple of spare gaskets leftover somewhere in my basement, but not the rest of the kit.

Too bad he quit making them - there's still plenty of demand. It would be great if he would sell his rights to another aftermarket provider.
I bought a used one even though I didn't have a WS6 - just because they're so rare and hard to find. It's on a friend's car now. At the track stock, his IAT's would run 20-30* hotter than mine with homemade CAI. After the BGRA, he'd run 10* cooler than mine. Kit just plain works.

Not trying to hijackyour thread, but does this JAAM intake seal up with an aftermarket lid and your hood nostrils together and use a metal plate on the underneath side?

I was finally able to find it the othe day. It was on the Speed inc web site. When I first started to mod my 2001 WS6 this was one of the first mods I did and I loved it. At the track I did see a nice drop in et with this mod.
Just went to Speed inc web site and noticed that they only sell the replacement gasket. Thats sad!

I saw one for sale (no sure here or on ebay); from reviews i saw it seemed to be a better setup than jaam. But i remember the seller wanting $300 for it (used obviously) although sometimes i wonder if it was worth it afterall.
I'll tell you what tho... I weather stripped the gap between the hood and front of the air box, and while driving i consistently see iat within 2 degrees of ambient temperatures. Naturally it'll rise when it's sitting, but it's a substantial improvement from it being nearly engine temps without it
