What cam am I looking for? So i'm looking for a cam to give me good low and mid range power and have a good mean lope at idle. I have an 01 WS6 M6, not a track car, just street and not daily driver. I have LTs with high flow cats and GMMG with most bolt ons. So what do you guys think would be a good cam for what I'm looking for?
Also, what gives you the mean lope at idle? Is it the reverse split kind of cam, like a 228 224 for example? Is it the lift, etc? I really like the sound of that 01 WS6 with jet hot lts, gmmg, and "mid sized cam" at the top of ls1sounds.com http://www.ls1sounds.com/gmmg.htm Thanks a lot!
