So maybe instead of bashing SPEC, you should go talk to whoever installed the clutch improperly. Spec clutches are great budget clutches allot of people run them here and have great success with them. But when the clutch isnt instled properly its not the clutch's fault.

I've gotta admit, i've rowed through the gears 1-4 on the line-lock. I was due for a clutch and tires anyways so what the hell

I row through 1st n 2nd n 3rd quite a bit with the line lock on, but then again I've got a MWC 9" in the back.
