Ran my 2000 ss camaro a4 at our local 1/8 mile track. Car has slp air lid, bbk intake, hooker super comp long tubes with ory ran through the stock cat back. Best run i could get out of her was 8.70 @ 84 mph, and best 60ft was 2.1069. I got the fever now and can't decide what to do to my car next performance wise. Def gonna service the trans and put in a line pressure boost valve

O and it hasnt been tuned yet after the intake and exhaust was put on

Get a tune, she has a lot more. I'm no expert but my car ran a 9 flat spinning with a 2.1 60'. First time at the track and I just left at idle, then floored it. My car has lid and cutout. I plan on going to the track tomorow to try to get better launches. I beat a silverado ss on a 150 shot that ran 8.34 at the same track, on the street he blew my doors off cuz I spun bad, then I babied it out of the hole and put a half car on him by 100. I think I can run low 8s if I quit spinning..

from what i hear a stall is the best bang for your buck. i dont go to the track that often, its more of a weekend cruiser. would a stall affect driveability of fuel mileage? Im wanting to put a magnaflow cat back and get it tuned, just so many options and not enough money lol

a stall will make normal driving more enjoyable. as long as its a quality converter.

my 3600 feels like stock and its very responsive.

+1 on the Vigilante...excellant piece
Also want to freshen the trans since if you don't know the maintenance
history of it and it goes then it will contaminate a perfectly new converter
which will need to be cut open to remove all the debris.

I am just now having my yank ss4000 put in and the tranny fixed. This Car is my dd, stalls only change how it drives before lockup, after it goes into lockup, it's the same no matter if it's a stock converter or 5000
