Default redline/royal purple coolant additives

I am about to flush my radiator on my ls1. In regards to refilling the cooling system, what's the go with the redline and royal purple additives? Do I just use one of them alone with water or do I still add the organic red coloured coolant plus a bottle of the additive?any info would be great

if its warm enough....I always use water. when im not, i use dexcool. you can get some additives from royal purple and the other guys that have claims of reducing temps etc.....i personally believe in radiator or fan upgrades.

I tried some Redline Watter Wetter recently because ever since my heads went on it runs warmer (used to run 198* constant, now it gets up to around 205* a lot).

It did NOTHING for me. Car also has a decent mix of water and coolant.

I also tried the water wetter on my 02 camaro and it runs cooler and the fans are not on all the time like they used to. Then again I did swap out the old Ls1 radiator for a new Lt1 radiator at the same time, so maybe the water wetter did nothing.

At my work we sell both, water wetter and the rp coolant additive. I cant talk about the redline since ive never used it(or rp tbh), but the new rp formula seems as though it may work. If you get a chance, find a bottle and shake it and you can feel it get a cooler which is pretty cool.

I have had great luck with redline water wetter. Used it my eclipse, it has to be just water no coolant other wise it doesnt work.
