With a proper tune cold starts are no problem.

i checked the valve springs and rocker arms 1k miles after we did the install.
plan on rechecking valve springs @ 15k miles. if all is okay, ill check again @ 25k miles. will more than likely change them out after 30k regardless of how they are. i do beat on mine fairly often. not much track time, but lots of high rpm pulls. ms3 cam gets nasty above 5k or so.
