If you're worried about running an LS motor hard you're worries are misplaced! I ran mine hard at WOT several times a week and it would just ask for more! I've seen these engines push 500+ RWHP daily driven and run 10s every weekend on stock bottom end and not miss a beat! These engines are great as long as they are taken care of with common sense.

I drove a 82 blazer while working on my car engine swaps over the summer ect.
And I'd much rather drive my 88 camaro. Like mentioned earlier, the only thing that sucks is the drive to work when sitting in traffic you get anxious. I drive my car about ~110 miles a day and do quite a few wot pulls each day. Hasn't missed a beat even at 18x,xxx miles.
Only cons are I miss the extra space and that I can't really be 'careless' about parking and putting **** in it.

I went from DDing an 85 m1009 military K5 with a 6.2 diesel to a 98 Z28 i was tired of going slow, and the switch made me feel like i was driving a caddy. i had A/C radio leather and carpets! it was awesome at first lol, but now i miss being able to whip around a truck and not worrying about it and being able to just turn off the road and go wheel it. I miss my truck but i love my fbody, its comfortable fast and does good on gas. i really want both though!

i used to dd a 95 c1500 2wd v6 with a stick. haha that thing was great for hauling the atv and as many said the care free nature. power was never there but the thing rode so smooth over the rough stuff. i dont mind dd the ta as the sfc realyl killed most squeaks and rattles taht have been mentioned. however my issue is that ddailying a sports car the car eventually looses that special fater. im much happier saving it for the weekend simply for keeping it fun

It seems like the ls1s don't last as long as my 5.3 for example. Might be misreading on my part, but I'm not going to drive something unless I can beat the snot out of it. So, a sub 100k z28 might be a better choice than a better looking 125k mile ss wouldn't you think? Or are the ls1 as reliable as any ls?
the 5.3does seem to be tougher I have one in my 02 Z-28. mods in sig it seems like you cannot hurt it. its heavier though. I also put T/A seats in my Camaro with the lumbar, its more comfortable than the Tahoe and gets better mpg it just is alot smaller. You can actually fit alot of stuff inside an F-body, fold the back seat down and you can fit a whole set of seats from an F-body in there drag wheels, a jack and, a toolbag. use your vehicle based on what its best at.

Was driving my 03 Hemi Ram till I found my 01 WS6. Love having an auto truck and m6 car. Best of both and that way I don't get bored.

Hemi: 15-16mpg
WS6: 21-23mpg

I had a 2003 Silverado and it was one of the best vehicles ive owned. It was reliable and actually pretty fun to drive. I then got my 78' which was a blast to drive but it was so underpowered being mostly stock. Then got the WS6 and it is better then both of the last two combined! I think you would enjoy and fbody especially if you drive standard!
Heres a pic of truck and camaro:

if you DD a F-body there is a chance of getting bored with it. That's what happened to me. Now I have a dedicated DD and I drive the t/a about once every 2 months, it's a lot more enjoyable that way.

I bought a Titan back in 07 and DD it until last year. Dont get me wrong it was comfortable and nice to drive but something was always missing. Not to mention every other day someone wanted to borrow it or wanted me to help them move. I paid the truck off then sold it and got the fbody, blew the motor up which sucked. But now its fully built and i love daily driving it. Love the power on tap at any time and dont regret my choice at all.
