The only regret I ever had is when an old neighbor came over and swore that anything with a lot of wires and sensors on it can't go fast. Plus no one makes a 3/4 race cam for an LS1.

I still have a truck with a big block, but have no plans in ever wanting another gen 1 sbc, ever.

The BIGGEST reason I traded my Mustang for this Camaro was because of the LS1 motor lol

How much did an LS1 '67 run you? there's a '68 with an LS1 swap for sale locally and they're asking $38,000 for it

They have to be the best engines to build off of. Even the mustang guys use them. how can you regret using an engine that makes the most HP?
No disrespect.

Won't regret it all if u have a choice don't go ls1 if u want big hp gains other Ls motors can hit 500hp + easier

Hey guys! I'm new on here and have a 55 Belair Hard top with a 468 BB, turbo 400 and 3800 stall in it. It currently is in the 550 hp range and I'm seriously looking into making the switch to the LS engine with 6 speed. Any thoughts on this serious swap?
