13.35 so what now?
So after 2 years of owning my camaro I finally took it to the track. Considering it's an auto with only a lid, some nt05's and a Borla catback I was stoked to see it run that fast. Now I wanna add a few other mods but let's just say the bank ain't full, what are some "budget" mods can I do to my car to go a lil quicker?

Look here http://www.dragtimes.com/da-density-...calculator.php and tell us what the DA was.
A SSRA or a good CAI kit is a good mod on the cheaper end

If you don't have the LS6 manifold intake you could do that. Could add a large throttle body, or just port and polish yours, good for a few HP. Doing some good general maintenance, if the car needs it, may recover some lost HP through miles and time. Could work on your technique of launching it, what RPM did you launch at?

Out of all the listed above options...a stall converter will yeild the best gains at the track. You want performance, converter...you want great sound with more hp torque, headers....cheapest options, ls6intake...p/p throttle body...new ram/cai setup.

Thanks for the replies. It says my DA was 196. My 60' 2.041 and it was my first time at the track so no launch techniques yet just mashed the gas and held on. Since this car is my only car I really don't want to do the stall yet, but the throttle body and ls6 intake sound good. Since we don't have emissions in my county would removing the cats help any?

Great thing is that with your current starting point virtually anything you do is worth a tenth. A converter is going to net you the biggest gains of any of the above mods.
Do you have a goal in mind?
If you go converter be ready to need a decent drag radial

Then converter hands down. It'll get you there quicker and cheaper in the long run.
Headers .2 maybe.3
Ram air, pulley, gears(depending on how far you want to go), tb, ls6 intake all roughly .1 a piece
Converter (3600 would be my choice) .5
Without a doubt a good converter gear combo is the best way to squeeze et out of these cars. If I had it to do over again those would be my first mod. Don't forget to go with a bigger trans cooler too.
Btw breaking into the 12s is just the beginning. Next it'll be 11s then 10s then 9s. When you get bit by the bug it's a bitch to stop.
