Default Need advice on building up my car.

Hey everyone, now that I'm in a place where I will soon be able to afford to do whatever I want to my car it's time to make a solid plan. My mods are in my sig. I want to do this the right way, I'm not on a budget and this car will be with me for the rest of my life as far I'm concerned. I want it to be fast as hell, something I can take to the track occasionally but mainly a summer street car. I have no interest in building it for nitrous or forced induction just a solid tough NA car. I do understand there should be careful consideration in how to accommodate and balance the rest of the car: brakes/suspension/tires etc.

If you ask me a hp number or what I want it to consistently run in a 1/4, then I guess it depends on what parts are capable of what, and how a NA car is going to achieve this as compared to N or FI. I'm playing with the idea of 600 and would like to see this car hit 10's.

I would sooner talk to some people on here than walk into a performance shop locally without an idea of what I should do and no idea on what I should spend.

Thanks, Kyler.

If money really is know object then here you go.
Engine.

Headers & exhaust.

Clutch.
http://www.monsterclutches.com/shop/...n-package.html
Transmission.
http://www.tickperformance.com/tick-...camaro-firebird/
Rear diff. and rear suspension.
http://midwestchassis.com/fabricated-9-pricing.html

That covers all of you major driveline parts now you just need a wheels, tires, suspension, 6 or 8 point roll bar (unless you cool with making one pass and then getting thrown out of the drag strip) fuel system......
