Issue with Accel wires
Anyone else using the Accel wires with ceramic boot. I order a set through a speed shop last year. I never had a chance to put them on until this year because of getting some other issues sorted. Anyways I put them on and they are too short. They barely fit and with the vibration of the motor the boots pull loose.
I called Accel and talked back and forth. They told me the warranty is only 90 days and I need to contact the retailer. The box is marked LS1 Ls6 wires but when I spoke with Accel customer service he said that they were the wires for the truck coils.
So anyways I'm stuck with a set of wires I have to push back on every time I drive the car.
I also called the retailer, he said that he had ordered them through a reseller and not through Accel and said that he couldn't help me.
The thing that pisses me off is that they seem to be standing up to the heat from the headers so I will probably have to order another set with longer leads.
