My only problem with the horn on my 99 is it has specific buttons vs hitting the center which is how my daily driver is. So half the time I end up just punching the air bag cover

exactly, and even the button is very specific on where to press so by the time i get to honking the horn i look similar to this

I love my stock steering wheel on my '99. I've driven '00 and above F-bodies and I like my smaller wheel MUCH better, as well.

oh wow, I had no idea there were specific buttons for horn. I always thought that mine was just broken, since the pressing area is so specific.

Now I know there is another aspect which makes the wheel worse....great. haha

Yup, I'd have to do a steering wheel swap if I ever got a '00 or above, haha.

It's because GM knows that you will inevitably turn it into a racecar and ditch the power steering and will need the extra leverage to turn.

GM knows all too well, because racecar.

I sat in a Chevy Cruze yesterday, and really like the feel of the steering wheel. I find it to be a very nice size, and has good thickness.... ha ha.

Totally agree. Drive one of these cars with a sparco evo or recaro type seat like the Mitsu Evo recaros and it completely transforms the car. Give me a good seat and a suede wrap on the stock steering wheel and Im good.

i actually love the seating position, but hate the lack of bolstering. I'm 6'4" and the cabin just works for me. I have the seat all the way back and all the way down, and the shifter is a perfect distance away, and so are the pedals and steering wheel. It just works for me.

idk why trans am's got more bolstering than camaro's, or so it looks with their seats

Both Trans Am and Camaro seats fit me perfectly. I have no complaints about either, except that I don't like leather. But the position and seat design are perfect for me.

I love F-Body's... I have had 6 now in my lifetime, and what gets me is the interior basically never really changed from 93-02. Yeah you got little changes on the gauges and Radios etc....

The steering wheels are huge, I have no idea why?!?!?

I prefer T/A seats over Camaro seats any-day though.
