Default Ls9 or l92

Picked up a used LS motor with no intake. I was told it came out of a 2010 denali. Its a 6.2 for sure. Block #12621766.which identifies it as a LS9.823 heads. It has VVT but no AFM. Could this still be a L92 motor instead of a LS9? Also can the computer and wiring harness be used to identify the motor? Don't want to spend money on wrong parts. THANKS

It's not an LS9 if it came off of a Denali, unless someone swapped in a 25k motor into their SUV.
