HP ratings?

Default HP ratings?

Whenever I see HP ratings, say 300, that would be at the wheels, correct?

Reason I ask is because I'll be putting a 5.3 in my '71 Chevy K20.

That rating is usually at the crank.

Yes.

When you see a HP rating from an OEM or engine supplier, it's generally always a crank horsepower number.

Also, keep in mind that ratings on OEM engines are always posted in SAE net figures, whereas various crate engines are often rated in gross figures.
