So I just had a racetronix fuel pump installed in my 98 trans am. I noticed when I got the car back that it was at 1/2 a tank when I left it with 3/4 I figured some gas spilt out during the swap no biggy. However for the last two weeks I filled my car till the gas pump clicks an gas starts pouring out so I know 4sure the tank is full but when I start the car it's only 3/4 full... Opinions bad sending unit, inaccurate gauge? Everything was fine until just about week ago when the swap accrued I had a bad check valve in other pump and I was tired of priming it an the rough starts .. Thanx in advance

My guess would be either something interfering with the float rising all the way or the resistor strip flaked off .
