so in the future i want to put a turbo or two into my trans am. for the longest time i thought id just get an lq4, throw some forged rods and pistons in it and use that. but now im wondering if i should stroke out my current ls1 to a forged 383 setup with dished pistons, 317 heads ect.

dont have the funds to start it now so will be a future build but what do you guys think?

I'd look at upgrading the rear end.. would be shitty if you turbo'd it and then have the rear end grenade on you..

I would say go with the lq4, the iron block would be stronger and you could sell the ls1 for more than you pay for a 6.0 block.
