cam ls1 cutout questions? I have a 02 m6, full bolt on, cam camaro with dyno tune an the rear o2's tuned out. it has a custom 2.5 ory on it into a 3inch then hi-flow can into a slp 2 muffler then dump before the axel an sould good. Over winter i added some 3 inch cut out about a foot after the headers on eather side.. All is good in the sound department , but it just dont seam like it pulles as hard Through the rpms till it hits 6k! i no ppl can get another 5 to 15 hp on a dyno on top end with cutouts but does it kill ur mid range hp\tq? Or is it just me? Is it normal to be a lil doggy through 3k-5k at wot?

When I got my car dyno tuned I had the tuner do pulls with the cutout open and closed to see how much of a difference there'd be. I gained 5hp across the board with it open, and I have a fairly good flowing exhaust (BBK headers/ORY/Magnaflow catback).
