Haha, I'll keep ya in mind. I still have the factory pewter panel hanging up in my shed, so I may switch it out before I sell. Have the factory hood and spoiler still too so it may get put back to stock Z28 configuration.

Well the good news is after making a 5 hour round trip this morning to pick it up, I now have a used but rebuilt trans that I got a good deal on.

Bad news, after spending another 4 hours with my best friend and my dad getting the car high enough off the ground to clear the trans(in the most redneck way possible), we all crawled under the car, looked over it for a while, and finally my dad said "I don't feel like screwing with this on my back, I''l pay somebody to put it in." So hopefully my local guy can do it reasonably and this week.

Photo taken by my buddy of me between expletives. Getting it high enough was a b*tch. We just kept raising it slowly adding a board at a time. The joys of being a shade tree mechanic with no garage.

Haha, yeah doesn't look great but it was stable. The rear wheels were on my ramps and chocked. I was screwing the boards under the front together as I added them so they couldn't slip, and was going to add chocks on either side of the tires. I can't use jack stands safely with my driveway. The jack isn't actually holding any weight in the pic, we just hadn't slid it out yet. I swapped my rear out a few years ago in a similar fashion.
