cam and longer push rods

Default cam and longer push rods

Hi im doing a cam swap in a 03 5.3 silverado motor im goin with the Comp XR265HR 0.522/0.529 lift split, a 212/218 duration split, and a 114-degree lobe separation angle. Will i be able to use the stock push rods or will i have to get longer ones

You definitely want to get new pushrods, mainly for the strength.

As far as length it's a crapshoot to just guess on paper. Measure to be right, it only takes a few extra minutes of your time.
