Default How do you put a license plate on the front of the Camaro?

Luckily, since having my Camaro, I have only lived in states where it is required to have a license plate on the rear of the car. How do you guys who live in states that require front and rear license plates get by? There's nothing on the front bumper that will hold a license plate. Just curious, if I ever do move to one of those states.

I don't run one....I'll just pay the ticket and leave it off. I've only been pulled over for it once since 2001.

I have to applaud the first owner of my 94 Formula who ran it in CA without a front plate for three years before I bought it. Picture the LT1 Firebird front end and you'll see that a front plate absolutely ruins it.

Living in Kansas has its downsides, but no front plate requirement is a definite upside.

LOL, my wife got pulled over at least 10 times in 2 weeks for not having one on her Camaro when she got it, never got a ticket but was told she would be given a ticket if the car didn't have one in a week.

I'm running a factory style mount on mine. I hate how it makes the car look but running without it wasn't worth it. I was even pulled over twice in one day at one point.

In WA, we are supposed to run one. A lot of people in the Eastern part of the state run without, but seems like the Seattle area and the western metropolitan areas get checked closer.

I bought my car from a guy in the Seattle area and he built a spring loaded holder that fits under the bumper.

I really don't care for the overall look, but I give him kudos for a workable solution. The plate can be fixed in the up position for shows and it is spring loaded so if you encounter a speed bump or similar, it springs back after the bump.

To me, that setup looks worse than covering the grille. The only thing tackier is when someone just rolls around with it in their windshield lol

Here's my favorite solution for Camaros:

SS Grille here - no mounting point.

I got pulled over once and got a $90 ticket.

Thought of doing the move where you have the electric pop-up mount, but decided against it.

The cop who gave me the ticket was more mad that I didn't even have it in the car. So now I keep it under my floor mat and I'll throw it in the windshield if I ever get the feeling I'll be pulled over. Just my ideas..

I live in a state where they are a bunch of uptight politically correct morons and we are supposed to have front LPs. But I choose not to they don't enforce it anyway unless they already pull you over for some other big violation

LOL, tried the windshield trick, it's still illegal in Iowa and more likely to get you pulled over. If they see it in your windshield they realize it's not on the front of your car.

Yep, and it looks tacky as hell in the front windshield lol.

When I got my car it didn't have the front license plate bracket so I had to order one. Took a few weeks to show up so I just rocked the rear plate only for a while. I got pulled over within a few days of doing so. The officer said he'd rather me have no plates on at all rather than just the back one. Go figure?

Also, my front plate was bent from someone backing into my car a few years back so I took the plate off and put a Pontiac Racing one on there. I got pulled over literally the first day I had it on there, and then never again for 3 years.
