Color code in vin. I just recently bought a SS HOOD AND SPOILER. they were not the same color as my car. So I sanded them both down and I was going to get a paint match. Does anyone know where on my 2000 z28 is the color code or what ever it is called please inform me ....

It's on the SPID sticker on the driver's door jamb.
There is a 3-digit RPO that lists the color option, and then the color code is in the very bottom line right next to "BC/CC".
