Default diff between 98-01 and 02 ws6?

I have a 02 ws6 and doing some research on it...seeing it has the 241 heads.... ls6 intake.....a LITTLE better flowing exhaust manifolds as I knew before hand. but what cam does it have? the original ls1 factory or an ls6 cam?

other forums confuse me, my apologies!

This has been covered many times.

Your '02 is the exact same as an '01, mechanically. There were no changes to the engine from '01 to '02. All other model years have some minor differences as compared to the next model year, so you can't group '98-'01 together.

Also, you have an LQ4/9 truck cam, just like every LS1 engine starting in 2001. The LS6 cam did not make it into any LS1 engine. 2000 was the last year for an LS1-specific cam, after which the LQ4/9 cam was used in LS1s as well.
