The general consensus is that a shock tower brace (4th gens don't have struts) is unnecessary and really is nothing more than an appearance mod. I've thought about buying one just for that because they do give you a cool "race car" look at car shows.

I was unaware that any Japanese companies were making front shock tower bars for our cars...They give you a good spot to lean when working in the engine bay though. I'm sure I'll have one eventually, but that is mostly due to my impulse part purchases.

Japanese part right out front and in plain view?? Please don't. I had >>> BMR>>> which did just fine.
