Default Shipping a uncut F-body catback

Has anyone here ever shipped a uncut stock f-body catback or have ideas on how to get it done reasonably.

I've seen it done. Multiple layers of bubble wrap with heavy cardboard on the ends and anything that sticks out. Take it to UPS and see what say.

All of the shipping companies have a maximum dimension they can take to ship an item through there regular shipping service.

I tried to ship a GMMG catback exhaust that had been welded, and I was told that because of the size I would have to ship it by freight. It was going to cost around $150. I ended up cutting the pipe at the OTA section so that I could ship it through their basic shipping service for around $50.

Get the overall dimensions of the exhaust and make some calls to see what the shipping services can do for you.

Unless you are a manufacturer that does high volume and has a special deal with UPS/FedEx, that is not going by UPS Ground or FedEx Ground. It is going by Freight. I think the dimensions are going to be longer than 70 inches.

You're going to end up paying a lot because if you want zero issues, you'll need to go to a UPS hub or store, have THEM inspect it to confirm no damage and to pack it and to insure it.
