I always looked forward to putting the summers on the z28, and the fun of really letting open the throttle on it is nice, but the c6 is something special. It probably doesnt handle that much better than the z28 modded and its power weight stock is no match, but a vette has something refined to it that i cant put my finger on.
I'm so excited this year. With the dst switch and warmer days coming up fast, im just itching to drive it again. An one here with a stored vette just counting the days?

Enjoy both your cars-they present enjoyment in ways the other car cannot...

Enjoy the ride
Corvettes are a blast to drive.
I'll get a Corvette in my garage one day. I just have avoided one since I feel they are too similar (the LS1 variety anyway) to the F-body in too many ways, and I like really different feels and driving experiences. My problem is that I have enjoyed owning these F-bodies since 1996 when I bought my first new Formula off the showroom floor. Not sure when that Corvette will ever be purchased.
You have any photos to share?

Since ive worked on the camaro so much, its definitly more agile now than a stock c6 z51. The c6 broke loose quicker on similar turns on spirited driving.
Few more weeks then i bring the vette out of storage.

Thinking on the c5, i thought it interesting you mention the similarity to a ls1 camaro. The 4th gen ls1 and c5 are way too similar in interior and power. Handling goes to the c5 but driving a c5 felt like driving a camaro. The c6 is nowhere near the c5 in feel. It is a different driving experience.
